Our farmer's market is a nice place to grab some local goodies, and I recently brought my camera along to shoot.
I also walked around the bayfront to take advantage of the afternoon light.

This weekend I attended my second Pride Parade, and my first since coming out. I remember the first time I went to Austin Pride I only took a few pics on my phone because I knew I would not be posting about it. I didn't want people to know I was there since I was still figuring myself out.
This time around I brought my new camera and took pictures of strangers. I hardly knew anyone but something about Pride makes us all feel connected, and for one of the first times I went up to people and asked to take their photo. It was a beautiful experience and a memory that will stay close to me.
Yes, I teared up multiple times while shooting. Even this morning this photo got me going again. My heart is so filled up with pride.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, marched, supported, and gave me amazing poses! I love seeing my hometown in this light.
I am so thankful we have the freedom to walk openly like this. We could not have done this without those who have come before us.

I always look forward to spending Easter weekend in San Antonio with my family. We dye/hunt eggs, eat endless amounts of food, and spend all weekend enjoying each other's company. For my family it's one of our biggest get-togethers of the year. This time around was filled with puppy-fever & cute kiddos running around.

Bocce is a staple for our family.
It's easy to see why I love this place so much. My aunt & uncle work endlessly to make their home a paradise.
